FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do you express praise and worship?
The Day of Pentecost Church, worship and praise God together in the sanctuary, with the instruments and organs and high sounding cymbals (Ps.150). It involves slow and fast worship songs, mostly contemporary christian music, but our main goal is to have the Spirit of God and His Holy presence to dwell in our praises. We cultivate an atmosphere where everyone is free to worship God in spirit and in truth.

Do I have to dress up?
You will notice that our church community and families dress modestly. You are welcome to dress casually and come as you are.

What if I’m not even sure I believe in God?
If you haven’t made a decision to follow Christ and His words, but would like to know more about Him, you’re a seeker, and that is great. That means you’re asking questions about spiritual things and of eternal values. You are welcome to schedule bible study or a Q&A with our minister to help with some of the questions you may have.
